Abstract:
This study was conducted to identify socioeconomic factors and its’ relationship with the achievement of the form 4 students in one of the secondary schools at Temerloh, Pahang. 60 students of girls and boys were selected randomly as the sample of the study. The instruments used in this study were surveys and questionnaire. The results of the study were analyzed using the software of “Statistical Package of the Social Sciences (SPSS)” 22.0 version. This study uses descriptive techniques to obtain the total of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Inference technique of t tests and Pearson Correlations were also used in this study. The result of the study showed that socioeconomic factors such as residence, parents’ education level, occupation and income did not affect the achievement of the form 4 students in PT3. It also shows no significant relationship between gender and the socioeconomic factors were identified.
