dc.description.abstract The study deeply explores Malaysia's food security challenges and highlights the importance of food availability and access, covering diverse aspects like income dynamics in agriculture, societal factors, and environmental impacts. Over the past two decades, Malaysia has experienced increased food consumption due to population growth, technological advancements, and changing diets. However, challenges persist, including increasing seed prices, oil price fluctuations, and the looming threat of climate change, affecting both local and global food supplies. Approximately one-third of the world's population faces food scarcity, impacting economies. Malaysia heavily relies on food imports, worsened by climate change. This study will suggests improving Malaysia's food security strategies by adopting new model, focusing on Sustainable Development Goals. en_US
