dc.description.abstract A case report of submacular haemorrhage that spontaneously displaced within 24 hours, thereby improving visual acuity. A case of subretinal haemorrhage over the macula of the right eye was presented to the eye clinic. The visual acuity of the affected eye was "counting fingers" at presentation. The patient was asked to return the next day for a pneumatic displacement of subretinal blood and was instructed on how to properly propped her head at home. Visual acuity of the affected eye improved dramatically to 6/24 the next day. Fundus examination showed a smaller submacular haemorrhage which was away from the foveal area. en_US
