Abstract:
The research seeks to establish a view on the construction of the Arabic present tense specifically theafʽāl khamsahwhich are connected to light or heavy nun either in the form of mu’rab or mabnī . The aim of this research is to ease the learning of Arabic language to non –arabic students in particular at the beginning of their 1styear of secondary schools in Malaysia. It aims also to avoid the feeling of astonishment from the difficult aspect of the language. I have a great evidence that the present tense of the five verbs is also constructed (mabni) and not as Ibnu Malik and those who came after him said that it is (muʽrab). The research will adopt the descriptive and analytical method to prove the opinion that we will choose. The research is expected to arrive at a positive conclusion that the present tense of the five verbs associated with the emphasis (nun) is alsobased on the evidence to be clear in this research.
