Lima prinsip Rukun Negara menjadi pegangan dan asas penyatuan rakyat berbilang kaum di negara ini selepas tragedi berdarah 13 Mei 1969. Prinsip-prinsip yang terkandung dalam Rukun Negara perlu terus diperkasakan kerana itulah pengikat perpaduan kaum wajid diamalkan bagi membina sebuah negara bangsa yang berdaulat dan disegani.
